Riverston is on the top of the list of most beautiful places to visit in Sri Lanka. It is located in  Matale in central province of Sri Lanka, bordering the Knuckles Mountain Range. It is about 25 kilometers away from Matale town. Riverton’s environment is fantastic, and you will be amazed by the biodiversity there. The weather is constantly changing, rain can fall at any time, and the wind is mighty. Riverston is a famous trekking destination, but many travelers are unaware of it. The climate of Riverston is similar to the climate of Horton plains & there are two great waterfalls named “Sera Ella” & “Bambarakiri Ella” in this great scenic area.

• Waterfall trekking – 7 K.M trek to Sera Ella through jungle.

• Leaving Sera Ella by 4.30 p.m.
